Why we work this way

Most business software is built by people who have never had to use it at 7 a.m. with a cleaner waiting and a guest arriving. We have. That's why our products start with the problem, not the technology, and why we keep running them after launch.

Running our own products also keeps us honest. When a calendar sync misbehaves or a payment fails, it's our phone that rings. So we build with automated tests, automatic deployments, daily backups and logs that tell us exactly what happened.

What we believe

• Start with the work. Understand the people, the decisions and the repeated tasks first.
• Make complicated things clear. Powerful systems should still be easy to learn on day one.
• Never lose data. Copies first, then email. Hold a suspicious sync instead of deleting bookings.
• Automate the boring parts. No one should copy files to a server or re-type a booking.
